Resumen
Desde la creación del Instituto de Estudios Iniciales en la Universidad Nacional Arturo Jauretche (UNAJ) en el año 2012, el inicio de los estudios universitarios es un tema de análisis en la Universidad. La realización de un Ciclo Inicial (CI) y de un Ciclo de Preparación Universitaria (CPU) para acompañar a las y los estudiantes en este comienzo de sus estudios superiores, brinda una serie de datos que resultan de interés para la investigación educativa. En esta investigación supusimos que, en esta etapa, la construcción de una identidad como estudiante reconoce una biografía, una historia personal que se pone en juego en el momento de comenzar a estudiar en la universidad. De todos los aspectos que la componen, nos propusimos estudiar las ideas de afiliación y competencias organizacionales y del estudiantar definidas previamente por otros autores. Nuestro objetivo general fue identificar las representaciones que construyen las y los estudiantes sobre su condición como tales en el tránsito por los inicios de su trayectoria universitaria y producir, a partir de sus interpretaciones, categorías de análisis que nos permitan comprender de qué manera se puede mejorar esta experiencia para que sea productiva para todas y todos los actores involucrados en ella.

Since the creation of the Institute of Initial Studies (2012) at Arturo Jauretche National University (UNAJ), the beginning of university studies is a subject of analysis at the University. The realization of an Initial Cycle (CI) and a University Preparation Cycle (CPU) to accompany students at this beginning of their higher education, provides a series of data that are of interest to educational research. In this research we assumed that at this stage, the construction of an identity as a student recognizes a biography, a personal story that is put into play at the time of starting to study at university. Of all the aspects that make up it, we proposed to study the ideas of affiliation and organizational and study skills, previously defined by other authors. Our overall goal was to identify the representations that students build on their status as such in transit through the beginnings of their university career and produce, from their interpretations, categories of analysis that allow us to understand how this experience can be improved to be productive for all actors involved in it.
