El proyecto de investigación se propuso indagar en una zona poco enunciada del genocidio de Estado de la última dictadura militar, una zona referida a la acción de la ciudadanía de deshacerse de los objetos culturales que venían siendo prohibidos, quemados, incautados en el contexto de una serie de requisas, detenciones, persecuciones, asesinatos y desapariciones. Considerando el relato testimonial como uno de los dispositivos privilegiados de la memoria, el grupo de investigación partió de la idea de recuperar información vinculada con las tácticas de ocultamiento o destrucción de materiales que conformaban las bibliotecas, fonotecas o filmotecas personales de quienes se dispusieran a brindar testimonio de esa experiencia a través de entrevistas. Para ello, el equipo filmó una serie de testimonios que nos permitieron contrastar nuestras primeras hipótesis, así como replantearnos situaciones vinculadas con la modalidad y las necesidades de la entrevista oral; analizar los materiales obtenidos; organizar y participar de discusiones con la comunidad académica y con otros grupos del conurbano bonaerense sur, interpelados por la propuesta.
La meta final del proyecto, centrado en la recolección audiovisual de testimonios orales, fue la de gestionar la apertura de un centro documental que permitiera a la comunidad académica seleccionar sus corpus y estimular su abordaje desde diferentes entradas críticas. Con una excelente recepción por parte de la Biblioteca Central de la Universidad Nacional Arturo Jauretche, se han iniciado las gestiones pertinentes para alojar el material recabado, catalogarlo y constituir un archivo oral, que prevé su consecución en un nuevo proyecto de investigación (2021-2022).

The research project aimed to investigate a little-known area of the State genocide of the last military dictatorship, an area related to the action of citizens to dispose of cultural objects that had been banned, burned, seized in the context of a series of searches, arrests, persecutions, murders and disappearances. While the testimonial account is considered one of the privileged devices of memory, the research group started from the idea of recovering information related to the tactics of concealment and / or destruction of materials that made up personal libraries, sound libraries or film libraries, of those who were willing to give testimony of that experience through interviews. For this, the team filmed a series of testimonies that allowed us to contrast our first hypotheses, as well as to rethink situations related to the modality and needs of the oral interview; analyze the materials obtained; organize and participate in discussions with the academic community and with other groups in the southern suburbs of Buenos Aires, questioned by the proposal. The final goal of the project, focused on the audiovisual collection of oral testimonies, was to manage the opening of a documentary center that would allow the academic community to select its corpus and stimulate its approach from different critical inputs. With an excellent reception by the University Library, the pertinent steps have been taken to house the collected material, catalog it and constitute an oral archive, which is expected to be achieved in a new research project (2021-2022).
