Perspectiva de género y trabajo rural, un análisis de la organización del trabajo y la división sexual del trabajo en una Asociación (Florencio Varela, 2021)

Resumen
La presente investigación pretende analizar las tareas realizadas dentro de la Asociación de productores hortícolas N°1610 ubicada en el periurbano sur, específicamente en la localidad de Florencio Varela. Basado en los relatos del grupo de horticultores/as pertenecientes a dicha asociación, interesa indagar sobre la división sexual del trabajo dentro de las familias agricultoras del periurbano, lo cual contribuirá a entender las prácticas de trabajo desde una perspectiva de género, y las representaciones que quienes trabajan allí tienen del mismo, a los fines de comprender las implicancias de la división de tareas que son realizados por varones de aquellas realizadas por las mujeres.
La pregunta general que da inicio a esta investigación es:
¿De qué manera se organiza el trabajo que realizan los trabajadores de la Asociación de productores hortícolas 1610?
A los fines de dar respuesta a dicha pregunta general, el presente trabajo buscará responder las siguientes preguntas específicas:
1. ¿Qué actividades y tareas se desarrolla en la Asociación?
2. ¿Existe una división de tareas y funciones a partir del género?
3. En el caso de que exista una división de tareas y funciones a partir del género,
¿Existe una percepción clara por parte de los propios trabajadores de dicha división de tareas?
A partir de estos interrogantes se desprenden los objetivos que tiene esta investigación.
The present investigation intends to analyze the tasks carried out within the Association of Horticultural Producers No. 1610 located in the southern peri-urban area, specifically in the town of Florencio Varela. Based on the accounts of the group of horticulturists belonging to said association, it is interesting to inquire about the sexual division of labor within the peri-urban farming families, which will contribute to understanding work practices from a gender perspective, and the representations that those who work there have it, in order to understand the implications of the division of tasks that are carried out by men from those carried out by women. Starting from a qualitative approach and based on the case study method, semi-structured interviews were used for data collection, with a guide of questions to be answered by the producers of the Association and, from this In this way, knowing what their daily tasks are and being able to account for the characteristics of these practices, specifically contemplating the existence or not of the sexual division of labor. In addition, secondary sources were used, which allowed deepening the understanding of the organization of rural work. Through the data collected, it was possible to identify that the work within the farming families and particularly in the selected Association is divided by gender, and that said division remains static, without further discussion or questioning of its nature and its effects.
