The Final Integration Work (TIF) attempts to respond to how the COVID-19 pandemic affected private home workers (TDCP) in the municipality of Florencio Varela at work during the Preventive and Mandatory Social Isolation (ASPO) of 2020. The hypothesis used is that the Varela TDCP have suffered loss of income and their jobs during the pandemic, specifically those workers not registered with security were the most harmed at work. Based on this hypothesis, we will investigate the survival strategies implemented by a group of TDCP from Florencio Varela in case their work situation worsens during isolation. In principle, a characterization is carried out at the sociodemographic, educational and labor level of a group of TDCP from Varela. It was then found out whether or not this group of workers saw their employment situation worsen during the ASPO. And finally, the strategies they carried out to survive in case they had lost their job or if they saw their salary collection interrupted were detailed. A mixed perspective was used as a methology. To collect detailed information on the characteristics of the sector and find out what happened with the work of each of the workers in the sample, a self-administered survey was carried out on a group of women from Florencio Varela who, prior to ASPO, already they worked as domestic workers. Once the information was collected, six of the respondets were selected, to whom an in-depth semi-structured interview was conducted in order to know what measures and/or actions they carried out to survive during the quarantine in case of being interrupted both their work and the collection of their salaries.
